Peruvian Influence

Early in my career I became fascinated with ancient textiles from Peru. A trip to Peru, where I also became interested in the landscape and the early architecture of this area, inspired a long series of tapestries that reference the textiles, landscape, architecture and burial practices of the visually rich cultures of ancient Peru.

Early Work
